Hi! In this blog I am going to tell a little about my experience in this English course. First of all I would like to tell a little about my previous experience with English. I have always been very detached to this field, in school I was doing very badly and it was very difficult for me. Many times I tried to learn on my own, with applications, with music, reading, and with any activity that was not so academic and structured. When I entered the university I realized that it was not so bad, because nobody is bad, only that I had not managed to find the right way to learn, I took English tutorials and really tried hard. Post 7: Changes to my Study programme

Hello! I hope they are well. I really find this space very opportune, since it helps us to communicate and express our opinions. In the first place, from the University of Chile, from what I have experience, the study plan of my career is at least quite good, the problem actually lies with the administration, since all the "CFG" be it sports, cultural and theorists are overexploited and do not perform for the entire academic community. On the other hand, the issue of time and workload is something very important to address, especially in this new context of pandemic, I really consider it essential to reduce post-Jordanian academic times, since many of the students are trying to coordinate our time. Post 6: Postgraduate Studies.

The truth is that thinking about a postgraduate degree is not something I think about repeatedly but it is something that I have considered. One of the main reasons why I plan to obtain a postgraduate degree is to specialize in a certain area that I really like, since this way I could develop more easily and obtain more tools to work in the future. This is why what I would like to study after finishing my degree is community psychology or specialize in the area of ​​gender, since they are topics that I really like a lot and that also address problems that in my opinion are fundamental to solve. Community psychology draws my attention because it has a much broader approach, also observes the subjects and the social context, on the other hand, I would like to delve into gender theories because one of my goals is to work in that area. Post 5: My future job.

The job that I would like to have or in which I imagine is a job related to my professional career. Honestly, the subject of my future work is something that worries me a lot, especially since it is a social career, since these do not have so much work field today. That's why sometimes I think that any job would do me good as long as I can live. Now, my dream is to work in the area of ​​gender and / or children, since I consider that women and children are one of the subjects most oppressed by society and I would like to contribute to that issue. At the moment I don't know specifically where to work, but if I had the opportunity to go abroad and get a good job, I would definitely do it. As I am a student of Social Work I know that it will not be a great salary that I will receive, but as long as it helps me to survive and live well I am satisfied. Post 4: The best movies I have ever seen.

 I have never been very good at watching movies, although I consider that it is very important in the history of art and human expression. That is why I always try to be updated with what is happening in the world of cinema. My favorite genres are action, animation and fantasy movies or series, within them I highlight the "Marvel Cinematic Universe" and the magnificent "Studio Ghibli". Post 3: What i will do after quarantine.

It is difficult for me to think about the day this pandemic ends, it really seems like a lie. Unfortunately it has hit me and my family very hard, we have been through many things, in  any case we continue to resist day by day. My two grandparents were infected with covid-19, all because my grandfather continued to work as a guard in a health facility, they were hospitalized for more than two weeks, my grandmother managed to get out of that sad place, and my grandfather became one more for the death toll.   Personally, I do not think that this helps us much to change as a society, I feel a lot of resentment with the government and it is a neoliberal system, for them people are only merchandise. Some people do not take the weight of what is really happening. These months in quarantine have been of a lot of self-healing and learning, that is the best I can rescue, I learned to be with myself, to value the present and the people that I have around me. Post 2: My best holidays.

  Every summer with my mother and my brother we go on vacation to Chile, it is like a ritual. But without a doubt one of the most magical and beautiful places was the "Cochamó" slides, belonging to the province of Llanquihue, Los Lagos Region. We were in 2019, in the summer, before all this started. With my family we had to do a long walk to get there, it was about 8 hours, we had to cross bridges, rivers and paths full of rocks and trees in the area.  When we arrived at the place we camped and shared with many tourists and residents of the place. We bathed in the natural stone slides and ate while enjoying the scenery. It is the best place since I went with the most important people in my life, my mother and my brother, also because it was a challenge to be able to get there.  We had to buy equipment to be prepared, as it is very cold and humid.
